Cosplays for 2006

argurotoxosTalk of Anime Boston and AX has had me thinking of what cosplaying I want to do this year. Or re-do. Whatever.
I definitely want to cosplay Killua again, though I need to paint my skateboard properly first. Either that, or get some yo-yos and say I'm from Greed Island.
I've also had my eye on a different Killua outfit besides his generic one, which is the one I've already done. But this post is useless without pictures, which have been brought to you today by the letters H[HunterxHunter.It] and I[ImageShack].

Another Killua outfit I like that's pretty simple, though if I do this one, I want to make his backpack, too.
Kurapica's first disguise in York Shin. Very Kaito-esque. I really like it, but dunno if I'll actually cosplay it.

I'm almost positive that I'm going to cosplay Kuroro Lucifer. It's basically my Tsuzuki cosplay minus the trenchcoat and with a red tie instead of a black one. I think I'll just be able to use my own hair, too, so all I really need to worry about are the earrings and bandages. I'm sure it'll still look weird in the end, though; I'll probably be the shortest Kuroro ever. x_x
I might add Gon to the list later. Because Gon would be so much fun to cosplay! ^^ I just have to pick an outfit first . . .
Other than Hunter x Hunter, I'm always up for cosplaying either Kurosaki Hisoka or Tsuzuki Asato from Yami no Matsuei again. Hisoka's good because I've cosplayed him at least once at ever convention I've gone to, but Tsuzuki'd probably be better since I actually have brown hair now; last time I cosplayed him with blond hair 'cause I didn't want to use a wig. Plus, that'll give me the motivation I need to try and find my own trenchcoat instead of always borrowing someone else's.
The three other characters I've thought about cosplaying are Murata Ken (Kyou Kara Maou), Hiei (Yu Yu Hakusho), and Shindou Hikaru (Hikaru no Go), but the only one I'm somewhat serious about right now is Hiei. I'd like to cosplay Murata, but I can't find an outfit of his that I like and is also recognizably Murata.
So in conclusion, I'll probably be cosplaying an ex-professional assassin, the leader of a 13-member brigade that is responsible for the death of hundreds, and two cool dead guys -- one an antisocial empath, the other a half-demon with severe self-esteem issues.
Man, I love anime.
