I can't see the Hunter x Hunter musicals live, but [dead link; the Lestat musical] is a different matter. Watched through all the videos this afternoon and it looks like they're really trying to stay faithful to The Vampire Chronicles while simultaneously creating something quite unique. Definitely keeping my eye on this one.
Studying for Japanese test tomorrow that I am in no way prepared for. It's all these damn transitive and intransitive verbs. I get the concept for the most part, but there's so many of them to remember. In particular, I keep switching 'to open' [akeru] and 'to raise' [ageru].
And according to one of my philosophy professors, we started learning a new language in class on Tuesday - loglish. A cross of logic (in particular, LSL) and English. It's funky.
For example, in English -- Achilles and Patroclus sleep if Agamemnon is not noisy.
In loglish -- P and Q if not R [P = Achilles sleeps, Q = Patroclus sleeps, R = Agamemnon is noisy]
In LSL -- ~R -> (P&Q)
Logic's grown on me. It's challenging and gets very frustrating at times, but I do enjoy it. And most of the example sentences we use in class are based on Ancient Greece, which is just awesome.
Back to studying Japanese now . . .
