argurotoxosI recently had my hair trimmed for the first time since I began growing it long, which was about two years ago. I also dyed it red, but it's a bit too light for my tastes. Before I dyed it, however, I wanted to get any other cosplays with long blond hair done. I tried redoing Jeanette from Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, but didn't like the way it came out, so instead I bring photos of Christine Trelane from Stormwatch. It's a closet cosplay because I only used what I had around; the main item I was missing was a proper vest.
First, for reference, this is Christine Trelane from Stormwatch.
And here's Christine with Jackson and Jenny Sparks from The Authority. Yes, two blond-haired women who kick ass and also smoke.
The vest I used was the only one I owned. Also, the blond dye had darkened since I cosplayed Jenny Sparks.
I think I will keep growing my hair out, maybe to Lady Loki length (about top/mid-breast).
This is Lady Loki, who was Marvel Comics' Loki several years back. She is awesome and amazing.
Here is the preview for tomorrow's Stormwatch issue. And let me tell you, this is my favourite preview to date.
I've missed Apollo and Midnighter being adorable together so much! On the other hand, they've only known each other in this continuity for, what, a few days? A day? And they're already completely smitten with each other? Much as I'm looking forward to their romance, part of me feels like it's moving too fast; it's certainly a different dynamic from when they'd known each other for years by the time we met them.
Also, Apollo, in a nice callback to Ellis' run, is once again in the tradition of losing most of his outfit before the end of the arc!
